This week I created two timelines for MamaBaby Haiti Morne Rouge Clinic's grant application to Inter-American Foundation. The first shows the overall timeline for the project. Once IAF has provided clarification of the preliminary data collection, progress report, and final data collection/review desired, those will be added.
The second Gantt chart shows the distribution of a new nurse midwife's onsite/mobile clinic responsibilities and educational/outreach/clinical responsibilities. It is noted that the exact days may change, but the weight of the various activities is evident.
Nice work with different types of charts, Julie. I like how you demonstrate overlap between checking posters, for instance, and mobile clinic work. I think these could be useful in your grant writing, don't you? Do you have a strategy for connecting your narrative, rhetorically, with this chart? I find such charts very persuasive in and over themselves, demonstrating logical plans. They show an overview of what's to come, don't they?
ReplyDeleteJulie, Wow! Great work! You are lucky to be doing both grants for the same client. I've been covered up with the first/smaller grant and haven't gotten this far for MamaBaby Haiti. I know you aren't up for too much collaboration but I might like to try to skype with you again, see if you can help me get up to speed on some of their info, contacts, ideas for Haitian sponsors....?
ReplyDeleteYour charts look great. Very insight for me for sure!
Mind = blown. These charts are awesome. It looks like you really got all the aspects down for what will go into the grant timeline, and it shows that you've got a good handle overall.
